COVID-19
Treating to the Latest Evidence, A Collaborative Approach to Clinical Decision Support
ACEP, USACS, and BWH briefly share how each of their organizations has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The evidence supporting the triage and treatment of COVID-19 is changing minute-by-minute. Keeping current is challenging, if not impossible, in the face of a pandemic. Technology plays a role in providing access and scale to a widening pool of information, creating the ability to rapidly share the latest information and guidelines. The Collaborative Clinical Advisory Committee (CCAC) is a consortium of healthcare industry leaders gathered by EvidenceCare, ACEP, Elsevier, DynaMed, and CUCM in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The consortium created and launched a collaborative CDSS solution for COVID-19 and has created a series of webinar events for leaders across the industry to discuss and review new findings, approaches, and solutions as they become available. Today, the crisis is COVID-19; tomorrow might present something new. During this inaugural session, listeners will be introduced to the team, including leaders from ACEP, USACS, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Featured Panelists:
Associate Executive Director for Clinical Affairs, ACEP |
Chief Medical Officer, US Acute Care Solutions |
